Art + Nature Adventure Camp

This Spring Break camp focused on how to be good stewards of the planet while making art. Participants learned about the science behind their materials and created eco-friendly works of art in a studio setting and the great outdoors. During the camp, we drew inspiration from nature and explored a variety of media including drawing, painting, "photography", and printmaking. Participants learned about contemporary artists who use natural, recycled, found, or otherwise non-wasteful materials in their practice and those who create Earthworks.

Summer Camp

This Summer Camp took a spin off of Spring Break's art and nature theme. The main project focused on the creation of a campsite, a group installation that used mostly recycled and natural materials. During the camp, participants learned about all things nature: local flora and fauna, ecosystems, and how to appreciate all of that without disrupting it.
